The Department of Sanskrit, University of Mumbai is proud of its alumni and students who presented their research papers at the 19th World Sanskrit Conference 2025, Nepal. Continuing the Sanskrit Department’s legacy of research, our former Head, Dr. Madhavi Narsalay, not just presented her research paper but also worked on two joint papers with our department faculty, Miss Renuka Panchal and Dr. Chinmayi Deodhar. Head and associate professor Dr. Suchitra Tajane was awarded by Best Research Paper Award. Her topic was Personality of Avantisundari in Kavyamimamsa..
