In accordance with the directives issued by the Government of Maharashtra, the students of the Department celebrated Sanskrit Day today with great enthusiasm and academic spirit.

As part of the celebration, some students prepared creative posters highlighting various aspects of the Sanskrit language and its rich cultural and intellectual heritage. Some students organised an exhibition showcasing the Sanskrit names of various household objects and everyday-use items, thereby demonstrating the relevance and practical usage of Sanskrit in our daily lives. In addition, several students visited different departments of the University of Mumbai and displayed Sanskrit posters on their premises. This initiative contributed meaningfully to creating awareness about Sanskrit and promoting the language across the University campus.

The active participation and collective efforts of the students made the celebration purposeful and successful.
