Department of Sanskrit , University of Mumbai , conducts  Diploma course in Manuscriptology every year, on Saturday  [ 11.00 to 1.00 p.m.] which gives you not only theory based knowledge of manuscripts but practical experience of scripts or lipi’s.

Manuscript is known as  any hand written document which has completed its 75 years and obtained classical, Historical or literary value. To study or research in such a field is really blissful.

In one year we make you understand the knowledge hidden in the manuscripts  with the help of 6 scripts like Brahmi, Modi, Grantha, Telugu, Newari, Sharda .Also we cover theory based part regarding Manuscriptolpgy.
