Sanskrit  Entrance exam 2018-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Entrance exam for M.A. Sanskrit 2018-19<\/p>\n<p>Department of Sanskrit, University of Mumbai conducts entrance exam for M.A. Sanskrit on 21st July\u00a0 at 11.00 a.m. Eligibility for entrance exam is graduation in any faculty.<br \/>\nMA (Sanskrit) is divided into four semesters. First two semesters have compulsory subjects like Sanskrit poetry, Darshana literature, Indological studies, Vedic literature, Poetics, Sanskrit grammar etc.<br \/>\nSemester III offers ten electives\u2013 Veda, Vedanta, Alamkara, Vyakarana, Dharmashastra-Arthashastra, Arsha Mahakavyas-Puranas, Indology, Modern Sanskrit Literature, Darshana Literature and Classical Sanskrit Literature. Semester IV offers inter disciplinary papers in Ancient Indian Arts, Ancient Indian Knowledge Systems, Indian Aesthetics, Narratology-theory and application, Yoga and Meditation.
