Faculty members of Sanskrit Department, Ph.D and M.phil students had\u00a0 interaction with the scholars. Apathy towards doing research on Puranas was marked by scholars. It was pointed out that this is the outcome of colonial mentality that Puranic studies are neglected in the recent past.
